Getting started

Want to know how long your translation will take and what it will cost? The first step is to fill in a short questionnaire about your project.

You will then receive a delivery date and cost-estimate based on a range of factors including the document length, format, level of difficulty, urgency and your customised glossary.

The next step is to approve the cost-estimate and delivery date before scheduling your own review of the translation.

The translation process

The translation process now begins.

Your project documents will be uploaded to the Wordhub, an easy-to-use collaborative platform.

Receive notifications when documents are uploaded or simply log in at a convenient time. Alternatively, you may opt to send and receive documents by email instead.

I research any terminology carefully, consulting a range of sources to hone your translation and populate your own customised glossary, the Wordbank. I adapt my translation to your specific corporate style, objectives and readership. Translation is a collaborative process and I may seek clarification from you as I progress through the document. When completed, I will check the translation carefully before sending it to you for review.

"Translation is not a matter of words only: it is a matter of making intelligible a whole culture."

Anthony Burgess

Next steps

On or before the agreed delivery date I will submit your translation and Wordbank for review.  My translations are completed to the highest possible standards and checked carefully.

Your invoice will be sent to you by email and uploaded to the Wordhub 7 days after the delivery date. Payment must be received by the date stated on the invoice.

Your project files will now be safely archived for six months and will be ready to be consulted the next time we work together.
