My services
Let’s turn your intentions into actions!

4. Service repair
True neuroinclusion is not just about policy, it’s about design. Pain points that may be a tolerable nuisance to the average user are often a barrier for neurodivergent brains. That’s why neuroinclusion needs to be considered at every step of any process.
Together we’ll map out your processes and identify any bottlenecks and inefficiencies. In addition to refining your existing processes, we’ll devise new and easy-to-implement neuroinclusive solutions for recruitment, hiring and onboarding, internal and external communications, HR, the customer journey and more…
We’ll nip and tuck your current practices and implement small but impactful changes that attract new customers and talent.
What you get:
• Collaborative policy and strategy adjustments to embed neuroinclusive practices.
• A clear employee value proposition thanks to meaningful engagement and a happier workforce.
• Reduced HR costs across the employee lifecycle thanks to streamlined recruitment, effective internal communications and better staff retention.
5. Hire My Hyperfocus
Niching down? Not likely. My brain works differently.
Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder is a misnomer. When I’m ‘hyperfocusing’, I target my attention extremely effectively – especially when I’m facing a new challenge.
Researching new topics fires up my neurones in a way that nothing else does. When I’m delving in, I’m relentless – leaving no stone unturned in my fact-finding mission to bring you information, investigation and new conclusions. Like many autistic people, I also have a gift for spotting patterns and making connections, which allows me to offer my customers unique insights and added value.
Need a quick-fire way to get in-depth research or a high-impact briefing? Harness the power of my atypical brain. I thrive on the novelty and complexity of your research-based challenges – delivering fast, accurate and actionable insights on any topic imaginable.
6. Critical Friend
My neurodivergence makes me pathologically honest and blind to hierarchy. When everyone’s complimenting the Emperor on his new clothes, I won’t hesitate to tell you he’s naked.
My critical friend service gives you the chance to pick my brains and ask me anything – even those questions you don’t think you’re allowed to ask. I’ll create a safe space for leaders and teams, providing ongoing, honest feedback and acting as your sounding board as you develop your neuroinclusion strategy. Together, we’ll troubleshoot your pain points and foster a culture of true neuroinclusion.

FAQ
This will be tailored to your organisation and its needs, but neuroinclusion can be embedded in your DEI strategy by becoming part of HR policies, hiring and onboarding processes, accommodations and inclusive practices.
A neuroinclusion policy should outline the purpose of neuroinclusion, your commitments, an agreement, and information about disciplinary and grievance procedures if company policy is broken.
“Reasonable adjustments” is not a very autism-friendly word by nature, as it’s so subjective. You should not think of reasonable adjustments as a limited menu of items that you prepare for employees.
Rather, think of them as an ever evolving buffet, developed over time in consultation with your employees. Think of them as an investment in your employees, and your company – where a little input and adjustment will lead to greater productivity and a happier workplace.
This is a complex area of law. For more information on your legal obligations, see the guidance published by the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
Sometimes it can be hard to juggle multiple needs in one place. You’ll need to understand individual needs, be flexible, and potentially think up mutually beneficial solutions.
It’s important to remember that some needs are less obvious than others, so being approachable, open, and flexible will help people come forward and communicate how they work best with you.
At Wordsted, we know that inclusion that attempts to exclude the interests of majority is counterproductive. Neuroinclusion is not about targeting specific neurotypes but about taking all brains into account. We pride ourselves on collaborating with you to offer flexible solutions that work for everyone.
Yes of course, if that would help the individual. Take it on a case-by-case basis – while some people would welcome the relief of a flexible schedule, others might thrive on routine and reliability. However, always consider the possibility that these requests may be due to a mismatch between the individual and the working environment. Perhaps there are sensory triggers that can be removed? Take the opportunity to ask if there’s anything you need to address.
Reach out – we’re happy to support you with tailored advice, policy reviews, or a discovery call to get started.
